Emily is honoured to be involved in the 2019 WA Performing Arts Eisteddfod. She is in demand as both a teacher and accompanist. As a performer she has a particular interest in contemporary repertoire and regularly performs and records with her ensemble Intercurrent. She works as an examiner for the AMEB and has adjudicated Eisteddfods in London as well as locally in Fremantle, Kwinana and at Hale School. She has 25 years teaching experience and currently tutors at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts at Edith Cowan University and at Perth College where she also holds a position as an accompanist. She returned to Perth to complete a Master of Music Performance Degree at UWA. The picketing was part of the group's call to boycott British films and products, and had little to do with Mine Own Executioner in itself.2 ADJUDICATOR EMILY GREEN-ARMYTAGE Pianist Emily Green-Armytage studied at the University of Western Australia, the Royal Conservatorium of The Hague and also undertook postgraduate lessons in London. The film was picketed on its US release by the Sons of Liberty, an anti-British group active at the time. The New York Times noted a "serious, adult and highly interesting film drama both in point of view and execution," singling out the work of writer Balchin, director Kimmins, and producer Korda, alongside stars Burgess Meredith and Kieron Moore. Īustralian Frederic Hilton worked as technical adviser. At the same time, his wife Paulette Goddard was also hired by Alexander Korda to appear in An Ideal Husband (1947).

The American actor Burgess Meredith was cast in the lead. To make matters worse, Felix finds his own home life deteriorating. Adam is about to become severely schizophrenic. Molly Lucian seeks Milne's help in treating her husband Adam, traumatised from his experiences in a Japanese POW camp. Felix Milne (Meredith) is an overworked psychologist with psychological problems of his own.
